Since its formation in 2004, Gang Suppression Through Educational Programs (GSTEP) has trained over 60,000 national and international civilian & law enforcement personnel on the identification, investigation and safety techniques when dealing with criminal street gangs.

GSTEP takes great pride in the dedication, passion and commitment towards each specifically designed educational training event and successfully accommodates the needs of our law enforcement and civilian communities. GSTEP understands that each level of program must meet the audiences understanding of the potential dangers that affects our communities. Age, regional gang trends and influences are taken into consideration when designing civilian adult and youth-based gang training, along with professional and educational in-service training. The GSTEP law enforcement gang training programs is geared towards establishing proper identification, investigation and prosecution techniques, as well as officer safety and awareness of past, current and future gang trends that the law enforcement community may encounter.
