Course Description
The camera records evidence, but the reviewer still has to interpret it. This one-day course prepares supervisors, command staff, and force reviewers to evaluate use-of-force incidents in the body-worn camera era. Topics include frame rate, compression, camera position and perspective, perception and reaction time, and stress. Using real incidents, participants compare video with reports, evidence, and policy and document defensible conclusions.
