Description

In this three-day ~24 hour course, officers will be introduced to the basic workings of social media and cellular records and how those records can be obtained and used as part of a criminal investigation. The course will further cover such topics as basic cellular theory and function, how to properly and legally obtain cellular and social media records, examination and exploitation of call details records, cellular mapping techniques, NC electronic surveillance laws, pen registers, global positioning, call records research and the use of electronic surveillance as part of fugitive operations.
