Our correctional facilities house people from diverse backgrounds. One of the challenges that corrections professionals face is keeping those incarcerated safe while affording all equal access to programming, out-of-cell time, and services.
LGBTQ offenders may face increased PREA risks and have unique medical/mental health needs that can lead to litigation if not correctly administered.
