Amazing class. This is the 2nd time I've taken it. I've taken it again due to the sheer amount of useful information that I wanted to rehear and study. Cook is always extremely helpful and provides some incredible tools for not just interdiction but for anyone looking to be a better patrol officer
Best Training I’ve ever been to! Truly a master at his art!
This is the first training class I have taken in the 3 years I’ve been in LE that has kept me fully engaged. Every slide I was learning something new or learning a new perspective on something. Instructor Cook’s experience and examples had such a large impact not only on what I was learning, but making me realize where I need to be mentally out on the streets.
It’s all about taking the extra step and highlights the benefits of a career in doing so.
Class was awesome, learned a lot over the last two days. Will recommend this course to my partners. If your just getting into law enforcement highly recommend this course
Great class! Covers all aspects of being a proactive patrol officer.
Proper Patrol with Dakota Cook is a master class in procedural proficiency, chaos management, communication and peer support. I recommend every officer take this class.
Dakota was a fantastic instructor. Very interactive with the class and showed many great lessons and insights that are very applicable for our profession as Law Enforcement officers.
I strongly enjoyed the holistic approach to teaching the class.
This class was fantastic learned that I can look back and think oh lord I probably let a load go in some cars that I have stopped due to me not taking my time and searching the entire car.
Great class, lots of good information!
This class was extremely informative, and helped me to learn that case law exists within case law that opens and broadens the scope of our jobs even further. The pacing was great, and the interactive scenario that updated over the course of both days kept me engaged and opened my mind to new ways to be the best PROACTIVE cop I can be even on calls for service.
