Proper Patrol

This class was very informative about different kinds of patrol tactics and avenues I can use to further my investigations that I did not previously consider.

This class covers a variety of topics which we come across in our daily LE careers. Dakota (instructor) is very knowledgeable in all the topics he teaches. Dakota comes across relatable and determined for all his students to learn and gain something usable from his classes. Dakota teaches this class from his own experiences and shares both his positive outcomes as well as things he has learned the hard way. Dakota has a good demeanor during his teachings. While watching my co-workers and people from other agencies in the class I attended I saw that we found Dakota relatable, believable, and knowledgeable in his delivery of this class. Dakota used newer videos and newer experiences to help us understand the topics being taught.

I enjoyed the class. The class helped me look at things in a different way.

This class kept me engaged and thinking throughout its entirety.

The course is great for general overview of proactive policing. It covers many facets in a short amount of time and does so very streamlined. I feel like this course had things to teach everyone, from the new officer to someone who has been on for a decade plus.

I really enjoyed the class and Instructor Cook was really knowledgeable on case laws and explaining how to be more proactive as a officer.

Great class for both the young officer new to their career and a seasoned officer. The instructor was engaging and challenged us to think outside the box. As a seasoned deputy I appreciated the insight into current trends in trafficking and how to be proactive in the interdiction of these
traffickers.

Incredible instructor, very useful information contained within the class material.
