Description
This course focuses on the Sex Offender Registration Act, PC 290. Students will be provided training on sex offender registration requirements, compliance supervision, and conducting out of compliance investigations. The course will also cover the new tiered registration system created by SB 384, which impacts every law enforcement agency, District Attorney's Office, and CA DOJ. This course is relevant for all non-sworn civilian registration personnel, patrol officers, investigators, and prosecutors.
