Social Media and Open Source Investigations with Nick Jerman

This course will give the attendee a definitive edge in research and information. In this current day and age these skills will allow you to locate the most cunning of criminals and those determined to evade and elude law enforcement. This class is fun, enjoyable, yet at the same time immensely educational. It is taught from the basic user to advanced.

I’ve been looking to take Nick’s class for a while now. This gave me an opportunity to get some insight on what it would be like. After this I will gladly pay to take his day long class!

Coming from a smaller agency where resources are limited, and often discouraged by closed-minded leaders, this class will allow me to conduct deeper, thorough, and stronger investigations to close my cases. Extremely grateful that there are people willing to share their craft like Nick.

The OSINT blocks at Justice X were solid. Straightforward, practical, and actually useful for real investigative work not just theory or tool‑showing. They broke everything down in a way that made sense from a street‑level perspective all the way up to case‑building.

I have been in law enforcement for about 10 years and had social media related investigations throughout. I am not a regular social media user however. During this class I learned how to use major social media platforms to my advantage and use them proactively in investigations. Anyone in law enforcement unfamiliar with social media should attend this course, especially if they are in an investigations role.

For the last year, I had about how great Nick’s course was on OSINT & Social Media so I had high expectations going in.

He crushed it! The training and knowledge was top notch. I thought I could find any needle in a haystack, Nick showed me I had not even scratched the surface of using OSINT to its fullest potential. For one of my crypto investigations, I could not nail down a particular individual tried to a wallet address. After the training, in 24 hours, I peeled back the onion about 8 layers and ID’d exactly who I had spent weeks looking for.

The Social Media and OSINT class will be a training I take annually.

Not just a standard investigation class. Very informative and gives the process in connecting the dots to give an investigation legs to stand on. Great class!!
