Mr. John Bivona was born in Brooklyn, NY, and holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, an MBA in International Business from Pace University, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Fordham University. He retired from the FBI in 2022 after 26 years of service, following a distinguished career in the U.S. Army, where he retired as a Colonel in 2019.During his FBI career, he served in New York on narcotics, counterterrorism, and organized crime cases, including leading a transnational task force that dismantled a global cybercrime syndicate. His international assignments included LEGAT Sarajevo and LEGAT Riga, where he advanced U.S. efforts in the Balkans and Baltics, focusing on terrorism, financial crime, and counterintelligence. He also deployed to Iraq, Hungary, and Albania. Widely recognized for his service, Mr. Bivona is a seasoned investigator and expert in interview and interrogation, with extensive domestic and international experience in high-stakes investigations.
