About Tiffany Thibideau
Tiffany Thibideau joined the IPTM staff as an adjunct instructor in 2022 where she provided instruction in the Institute Crime Scene Processing Workshop. Her primary area of instruction is that of Crime Scene Processing and Photography. Ms. Thibideau is presently employed with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office where she has gained extensive investigative experience, she has been assigned to the Crime Scene Unit for over 11 years where she is considered a mentor to her peers.
Ms. Thibideau’s responsibilities included the processing of all manner of crime scenes, as a Crime Scene Technician, and serves as a Field Training Officer and Latent Print Analyst. During her tenure with her agency, she completed multiple assignments in the Crime Scene Unit, completed multiple trainings to her agency members on crime scene documentation, preservation, collection, and processing. She also specializes in the area of crime scene photography and nighttime photography. Her input was instrumental in the acquisition and implementation of the current digital photography and forensic field training procedures at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Ms. Thibideau has qualified as a certified Crime Scene Analyst through the International Association for Identification and is currently in the process of attaining her Senior Crime Scene Analyst certification. She holds memberships in various professional organizations including the Florida Division of International Association for Identification. Ms. Thibideau is also a graduate of the University of West Florida in Pensacola and has attended numerous advanced and specialized law enforcement and crime scene processing courses during her career.
