About Agent Rafael Baez

Agent Baez brings over sixteen years of extensive experience as a Law Enforcement Officer, including almost thirteen years specializing as a Narcotics Agent. Throughout his distinguished career, he has focused on complex cases involving narcotics, firearms, and interdiction. As a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Certified Instructor, he began his teaching career in 2013 and has since delivered training at local, regional, and national levels. His expertise has been sought by the Department of Defense Special Operations and over a thousand law enforcement officers across Florida.

Agent Baez has a diverse instructional portfolio, covering critical topics such as narcotics and dangerous drugs, surveillance techniques, undercover operations, vehicle assaults, firearms, defensive tactics, and de-escalation strategies. Since 2012, he has also served as a dedicated member of his agency's S.W.A.T. Team, holding various key positions including MRAP Driver, Breacher, and Containment/Entry Team Leader. Agent Baez’s commitment to excellence and his breadth of knowledge make him a highly respected figure in law enforcement training.
