About Christian "Chris" Smith

Chris Smith is an Oklahoma Law Enforcement Officer and the founder of BIGCARS - The Trucking Industry. He began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer in 1997 and has served full-time since 2001. He has served as Undersheriff since 2021 and has experience in patrol, investigations, criminal interdiction, and K9 operations.

Before and during his law enforcement career, Chris gained firsthand experience in the trucking industry as a commercial driver. This background gives him a practical understanding of the industry and the day-to-day operations of commercial vehicles.

He brings that combination of trucking and law enforcement experience to BIGCARS training, helping officers understand the trucking industry, recognize normal, and spot abnormal.
