About Seth Snedden
Officer Seth Snedden has been a police officer since 2005. He has worked in patrol and plain clothes specialty units targeting high crime areas within the city. Seth received the Life Saving Award in 2011 for going above and beyond the call of duty in rescuing a person in crisis who had been seconds away from taking his own life.
Prior to his career in law enforcement, Seth served 6 years as a public school teacher. He taught K-6 at Cahoon Elementary in Tampa, FL before earning a position with the Urban League Academy in Minneapolis, MN. Seth has used this educational background to improve curriculum and standards of evaluation for recruits throughout the police academy process.
