Description
Sometimes the most effective change in an agency doesn’t just come from the top—it comes from officers who lead in the moment, build credibility and model integrity every single day on the job.
On every shift, line level officers step into situations that demand courage, clarity, and quick decision-making. Taking the Lead is built for those officers without supervisory titles who are ready to step up, take initiative, and influence others in powerful ways—no rank required.
In this two-day highly dynamic and immersive class, we will explore the internal and external barriers that hinder leadership growth at the front line and how to successfully overcome them. We’ll explore how your verbal and non-verbal communication can be your most valuable tools to influence and motivate others, resolve conflict and deliver positive outcomes.
The goal of this program is to empower frontline officers to recognize and embrace their capacity to lead by equipping them with the mindset, communication tools, and practical strategies needed to influence their peers, strengthen team culture, and drive positive change within their department.
