Description
Effective Field Training Programs require more than qualified FTOs. They demand competent leadership, consistent supervision, and sound program management.
This comprehensive 20-hour certification course prepares Field Training Supervisors, Coordinators, and Managers to effectively lead, administer, and evaluate their agency’s Field Training Program. Participants will explore FTO selection and supervision, performance evaluations, DOR quality assurance, remedial training, critical decision-making, legal considerations, and program accountability.
Through practical exercises and real-world scenarios, participants will develop the knowledge and supervisory skills necessary to strengthen training standards, manage performance deficiencies, and ensure a consistent, defensible, and effective Field Training Program.
Eligible for TCOLE credit (TX).
