Description
This course will prepare you to understand what elopement is, assist during interactions with missing persons with disabilities and dementia, give you practical techniques to keep both the eloper and yourselves safe, and provide resources to help persons and caregivers. You will learn how to communicate with caregivers and what information is needed, how to create a plan for when you get the call, and what resources to look for and give.
