She recently concluded her term as the President of the National Criminal Justice Association, a nonpartisan organization that unites police, prosecutors, defense attorneys, correctional professionals, and others in the criminal justice sector to promote evidence-based policies aimed at improving public safety. Additionally, she serves as the Vice President of the Maine Children’s Trust and participates in her community’s Comprehensive Plan Committee.
