About Philip A. Mullenix, CRT

Philip A. Mullenix has been affiliated with John E. Reid and Associates since 1978. He brings to his training programs an experience level that includes application of the Reid Technique within a variety of tactical environments as well as the traditional “in the room” interview/interrogation format. Mullenix’s book, Elicitation: A Subtle Tradecraft, describes practical elicitation tactics for field intelligence collection. Having conducted thousands of investigative interviews, interrogations, debriefings, and elicitations, Mullenix has delivered Reid training programs for both civilian and military intelligence, counter intelligence, Special Forces, SERE units, as well as public law enforcement and private sector organizations within North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Mullenix has practiced law since 1983 and is currently licensed by the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
