With over 18 years in law enforcement, I feel trainings like this should be mandatory because it can be applied to almost every daily encounter an officer may have and possibly change the outcome if the techniques taught in this calls are used correctly.

Nick Jackson did a great job with his presentation. This course is designed to teach deceptive behavior in traffic stops. The basics of this training can assist with general crime investigations. Getting bad guys to talk only helps you develop additional PC. New or seasoned officers will benefit from this training.

This was a good course for me. I enjoyed being able to learn from somebody who does interdiction for a living and not somebody that just gets narcotics on patrol. I would have enjoyed diving more into what types of cars are stopped and the conversation that goes into gaining consent. I did like using actual stops and videos where loads are caught.

Good coarse. As a hostage negotiator we utilize the communication aspects that are used here. I would love to see how to help new officers take this in and be receptive and pro active to this in lower call volume areas or low moral.
