Inside the Radicalization Pipeline, From Indoctrination to Action is a 10-hour course designed for public safety professionals, intelligence and analytic personnel, and public-facing stakeholders who need a practical, behavior-based understanding of radicalization and online grooming.
Participants learn a standardized pipeline model, observable markers, and decision points that distinguish belief, influence, and mobilization. The course explains how extremist ecosystems use social media to amplify narratives, identify vulnerable targets, migrate them into controlled private spaces, and escalate commitment through obligation cues and loyalty testing. Students also receive structured literacy on Islam foundations and core texts, plus a geopolitics primer focused on how conflict narratives are packaged and used for recruitment and coercive capture.
Instruction emphasizes objective documentation, role-appropriate reporting, legal and ethical boundaries, and prevention options in Western environments. Training is non-sensational, operationally realistic, and focused on reducing bias, improving accuracy, and supporting early intervention and threat management.
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to map the radicalization pipeline from indoctrination to action, recognize early online and offline grooming indicators, distinguish mainstream religious belief from extremist interpretation, and apply role-appropriate prevention, documentation, and referral actions based on observable behaviors and measurable risk cues.
