Interdiction Academy 2.0

Interdiction Academy 2.0 is a modernized, courtroom-defensible training program designed for law enforcement officers who want to sharpen their ability to detect and disrupt criminal activity on America's roadways. This 10-hour course blends real interdiction experience, behavioral science, and investigative strategy to prepare officers for the realities of roadside encounters. Students will learn to identify criminal driving behavior, roadside selection tactics, and vehicle registration patterns, as well as smuggling methods involving commercial vehicles and car haulers. The class emphasizes cover stories, deceptive travel narratives, behavioral baselines, pacifying cues, roadside interviews, and consensual encounters, while building skills to link behavior to reasonable suspicion and probable cause and articulate findings in reports and testimony that withstand defense scrutiny. The course is taught by Nick Jackson, a nationally recognized interdiction instructor with over 14 years of law enforcement service, including a decade dedicated to narcotics and criminal interdiction, during which he has seized millions in illicit U.S. currency, thousands of kilograms of controlled substances, and made hundreds of telony arrests. His teaching is rooted in operational experience, proven interdiction methods, and courtroom-tested results, giving officers practical tools they can apply immediately on the roadside.
