Description

This class provides officers with the "best practices" for managing critical incidents, i.e. barricaded subjects. This program is designed to give responding officers and first-line supervisors a comprehensive overview of the "best practices" when dealing with the initial response to a critical incident (barricaded subject, hostage situation, etc.) During the program, participants will do tabletop exercises and discussions on critical incidents.

Great class not many academies teach what to do when de-escalation fails to get people out of a car and a non-compliant subject escalates a simple traffic stop. Every agency should have some form of training on this.
