About Brenin DeOliveira
Brenin DeOliveira is a former law enforcement officer and the founder of BJJ COPS, the largest police defensive tactics program in the United States. Since 2008 he has trained and mentored thousands of officers across the country, focusing on realistic survival skills, control tactics, and mission focused discipline.
An accomplished Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor, Brenin has earned titles such as the Delariva Cup, the Massachusetts Open, and the Dragons Lair Absolute Championship, and has competed internationally at elite levels. He is a black belt under the renowned Francisco “Toco” Albuquerque of the Carlson Gracie lineage and he currently coaches at BTT Jax.
Bringing together real world law enforcement experience and high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Brenin is known for his no nonsense leadership and his commitment to officer readiness. His work continues to inspire police professionals to train with purpose, courage, and control.
