About Tim Jones

Timothy Jones is a seasoned law enforcement professional, educator, and entrepreneur whose career spans over three decades of service, leadership, and instruction. Originally from Florida, Timothy grew up near Pensacola before enlisting in the United States Navy at the age of 19. His military journey led him to Deep Sea Dive School in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii—an experience that not only shaped his discipline and resilience but also introduced him to the woman who would become his wife.

Following his Navy service, which included a tour in San Diego, Timothy relocated to New Hampshire, his wife’s home state, to begin his academic and professional journey in civilian life. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 1996, which laid the foundation for his entry into law enforcement. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Londonderry Police Department, where he dedicated 20 years of distinguished service before retiring in 2016.

Throughout his tenure at Londonderry PD, Timothy held a variety of roles that showcased his versatility and commitment to public safety. His positions included patrol officer, School Resource Officer, SWAT operator & sniper, detective, patrol sergeant, detective sergeant, and lieutenant. This breadth of experience allowed him to engage in a wide spectrum of police work, from tactical operations to community engagement, and he remains deeply passionate about the profession.

In 2013, Timothy channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into founding Granite State Police Career Counseling (GSPCC), a law enforcement training company focused on in-service education for police and corrections officers. His dedication to professional development and mentorship extended into academia, where he spent five years teaching criminal justice courses at New England College. Serving both as an adjunct and full-time professor, Timothy taught a diverse array of subjects and founded a cadet corps to support students pursuing careers in law enforcement.

As of August 2025, Timothy serves full-time with Dirigo Safety, LLC, where he continues to influence the field of law enforcement as an instructor, business developer, and curriculum designer. His work at Dirigo Safety reflects his enduring commitment to enhancing the skills, knowledge, and professionalism of officers across the region.

Timothy’s career is marked by a deep sense of service, a passion for teaching, and a drive to innovate within the law enforcement community.
