Anthony Miranda brings more than 35 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, having held multiple Chief of Police roles and served in key leadership positions across Los Angeles County. Known for his crisis-tested leadership and commitment to ethical reform, Tony guided departments through high-stakes transitions—including leading the Bell Police Department during the 2010 city corruption crisis. As Chief of Police in Vernon and Irwindale, he modernized operations, elevated community engagement, and prioritized transparency and officer wellness.

Tony’s expertise extends across strategic incident management, interagency coordination, and smart policing strategies. In his role as Law Enforcement Liaison for the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office, he supported high-profile prosecutions and strengthened regional collaboration. Currently, he serves as a Special Liaison for the L.A. County Probation Department, advising on county-wide law enforcement partnerships and youth development initiatives. His programs—including the #PinkPatchProject and Parents on Patrol—have had lasting impact, raising awareness, building trust, and enhancing public safety.

Tony is a recognized voice in modern policing and continues to influence the profession through consulting, training, and policy advising. He is a POST panel consultant at CSU Long Beach, a past president of the L.A. County Police Chiefs Association, and a member of the California Police Chiefs Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Tony is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration & Policy at CSU Long Beach and holds a B.S. in Human Services from the University of Phoenix.
