About Stephen Hall
First Sergeant Steven Hall has been employed with the Virginia State Police since 1985. He is currently assigned as the coordinator of the Help Eliminate Auto Theft (H.E.A.T) and Insurance Fraud programs. He was previously assigned for 10 years as a sergeant in the Professional Standards Bureau. He conducted extensive administrative internal affairs investigations throughout the state for the Virginia State Police.
First Sergeant Hall began his career with the Virginia State Police as a trooper. Prior to his employment with the Virginia State Police, he served in the United States Air Force as a Security Police Officer. First Sergeant Hall provides training sessions on internal affairs at the New River Criminal Justice Academy and Virginia State Police Training Academy.
He received an Associate of Arts in Police Science from New River Community College and Bachelor of Arts in Management of Human Resources from Bluefield College.
First Sergeant Hall has been accepted to attend the 2015 National Criminal Justice Command College class at the University of Virginia.
First Sergeant Hall is a member of the International Association of Special Investigations Units and International Association of Auto Theft Investigators.
