About Det. Sgt. Victor Galarza
Victor is your premier choice on Mexican Transnational Criminal Organizations (MTCOs) and narcotics investigations. He is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the 22nd and 13th Judicial Districts of Colorado, his expertise built on a rare combination of high-level cultural knowledge and frontline experience; a decorated officer and recipient of three Distinguished Service Awards and a Meritorious Service Award for Bravery, who also served as Vice President (Region 2) of the Colorado Drug Investigators Association (CDIA) from 2022–2026.
Victor’s perspective is uniquely informed by his previous status as a Mexican Diplomat; this allowed him to bridge the gap between U.S. Law Enforcement and the inner workings of Mexican military and security services. From investigating the “Plaza Bosses” of various Mexican Criminal Organizations to orchestrating the largest undercover operations in his AOR, his instruction is rooted in current, high-stakes investigations.
