Great Training, engaging instructors

The instructor was a fabulous presenter and very motivating. She showed how strong people can against a huge amount of obstacles and to never give up. An inspiration to all women and not just those in law enforcement.

Informative course. IA function and Use of Force has becoming exponentially complex in the past 5 years. This course gives great perspective into understanding what influences officers decisions in using force and provides the student with better understanding how to view a UOF situation without bias. Great course.

Heather shared a variety of stories, both personal and professional, that made the content relatable, relevant, and motivational! She may claim she’s “not an expert” but she knows her stuff - especially the stuff women need to know about in order to self-advocate and succeed in law enforcement.

This is a great first line supervisor course.

Some material could be shorter

This course taught me different tactics I can use to help supervise and motivate my squad.

Captain Watkins has a wealth of knowledge on the topic. This was a good class for a evaluation "tune-up", but may not be enough to start or re-vamp your entire program.
