Valuable information for anyone wanting to become or just became a supervisor. May want more hands on for some topics like I.C. as it's pretty dull

Well rounded course which will give any officer the tools and education to be successful upon promotion.

The J. Harris Academy of Police Training provides the highest quality leadership courses with emphasis on professional standards. I have attended both the level 1 and level 2 command series and have gained tremendous confidence in my leadership capabilities because of it.

This class was outstanding. I really got a lot out of it that I could bring back to my police department. It is practical material where we have an open discussion and actually learn pertinent information. Jim, Phil, and Rebecca are very knowledgable and kept me invested for the entire week. Every soon to be or newly appointed sergeant should take this course. This class will make us better supervisors.

Great leadership course that focuses solely on how to better your leadership skills and not about liability

I thought the class was very informative. It had me look at situations from a different perspective.

The course was a great refresher and provided insight in dealing with common problems occurring within departments across the area whether it be generational learning curves, toxic environments, morale, etc. The course touched base on several topics and ways to deal with them.

Location was clean, safe and comfortable.
