Great class. Loved how you teach about base line and showed examples of it. Also you don’t shy away from mistakes you have made you help everyone learn from them.

I thought I gained a lot of great information about how to go about starting and doing consensual encounters. I know the stuff is out there but didn’t really know what to do before. I fully feel like I can at least start trying to do them after this class. As a newer officer in law enforcement, this class was awesome.

Very informative and interactive class. Explains in detail on how to traverse through voluntary contacts and to recognize signs of deception.

Bonney did an excellent job balancing the case law covered in the course with practical instruction on how to apply it, followed by real-world examples of how those principles are used on the street. His teaching style made the class both informative and entertaining, which kept everyone engaged throughout the course.

One of the strongest aspects of the training was how Bonney tailored the material to the environments and situations we are actually likely to encounter based on our patrol areas and specialized assignments. The course covered practical applications in locations such as bus stations, truck stops, hotels, and open-venue areas, making the instruction directly relevant to the work we do.

Overall, Bonney did a great job taking legal concepts and case law and turning them into practical, street-level knowledge that officers can understand and apply in real-world situations.

You are missing things and letting things go if you don’t take the time to learn. This is one of those classes you need to take and everyone in the career should.

Course was great and had a lot of useful info. I enjoyed learning about the different signs of deception. Watching the instructors’ BWC is alway interesting and to actually see they are displaying the info they teach.

The class has elevated my understanding of pro active policing. The instructor did a great job explaining case law and real world examples.

This class teaches effective and legally sound strategies to help any officer excel in consensual encounters. This is applicable to all kinds of jurisdictions.

Nicks class if very well put together and shows body cams of encounters he has had previously and breaks them down. He covers case law and techniques to use when conducting consensual encounters. I highly recommend this class!
