These conferences always lead to good networking and valuable information that can be used in the field.
This course was extremely informative and very open for discussions between multiple agencies. I learned a lot along while going over information I previously knew. I highly recommend any agency that deals with gang related issues attend this conference.
The accommodations were nice, but the surrounding area does not have a lot to offer. The classes were very specific to the certain department and cases the speaker worked. Would of liked it be to a little more generalized so more people could gain knowledge.
Indiana put on a great conference with a variety of topics.
MGIA was an enjoyable Conference. There were courses that were informative, others used strictly for motivation, and some that did not directly pertain to your field. Additionally, this conference is a great opportunity to network with other L.E officers throughout the Midwest, and also provides a great opportunity to see new tech and gear available through the vendors.
2023 MGIA Conference was a great training opportunity to attend. This was my first large scale gang awareness training. I feel that the information that was presented was up to date and useful. I Definitely have several topics to bring back to our department and share.
The conference is a great way to learn more about gang activity, along with being able to network and make connections.
Great course for networking and getting to know others around the region within our profession and specialization.
This training was good for even a couple of us coming from the East Coast !!
Some classes were more applicable than others. I think there was a wide variety of classes and instructors so that everyone took something away from the conference.
