Description
Every patrol officer is taught how to take a report of a crime that already occurred, but not every officer is taught how to find and catch the bad guys. This class will teach officers how to be pro-active in between their calls for service. This class will equip every officer on how to find the criminal element in our communities and put them in jail. Instead of being told what you CAN’T do, this training will teach you what you CAN do.
Topics covered include target selection, conducting a proper roadside interview to determine if criminal activity is present, obtaining consent to search, finding wanted fugitives, obscure transportation code violations, identifying criminal devices, organized retail theft, fuel theft, re-encoded credit cards and more.
Whereas many police trainings cover general strategies, this class incorporates the intricacies of Texas statutory and case law. By diving deep into Texas law, we equip the Texas peace officer with the knowledge needed to guide their conduct legally and to leverage the law to work in law enforcement’s favor.
