Description
Police Officers investigate motor vehicle crashes more often than any other type of call. No two crashes are the same and if something is missed during the investigation it can lead to serious issues for parties involved, the investigator and the department responsible. This course will cover all aspects of crash investigation from the response to preparing for court. This course will provide you with better knowledge of crash investigation and what resources you may need to properly investigate.
Course Objectives:
Learn the importance of having a solid foundation for crash investigation and the pitfalls of not being prepared.
Gain a better understanding of what crash evidence is important and how to better interpret it.
Understand what additional resources are available to aid in an investigation and how to locate them.
Understand crash dynamics and how Newton’s 3 laws are used to investigate crashes.
