Description

This dynamic training course equips patrol officers with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively conduct drug interdiction while staying within legal and ethical boundaries. Officers will learn to identify potential drug couriers, conduct effective roadside interviews, and apply key interdiction techniques in real-world scenarios. The course also addresses constitutional limitations, safety considerations, and the strategic use of canines in interdiction efforts. Through classroom instruction and practical exercises, officers will gain the confidence and skillset necessary to carry out interdiction operations safely and successfully.

Course Objectives:

Identify behavioral and situational indicators of potential drug couriers.
