Description
For OpSec purposes, the following course description is a very general overview. For more
detailed information email infiltrate@aceinterdiction.com (law enforcement emails only).
“Seek The Truth” is an 8-hour course that is dedicated solely to one thing; Solving Homicides,
both fresh and cold cases alike. We focus on a unique investigative tool which utilizes
undercover operations to solve homicide cases. These types of undercover operations are
generally conducted when a homicide suspect is in some type of law enforcement custody
(arrest or detention). While in custody of law enforcement, an undercover operation is put into
motion, usually in a detention setting, with the primary goal of learning the truth/details of the
homicide case through conversation.
The instructor presenting this course is a 30-year veteran of a Southern California law
enforcement agency. He worked 19 years in Special Investigations. From 2015-2025 the
instructor was a full-time undercover operator, primarily coordinating operations and working
UC in these homicide types of operations, with a high level of success. As an undercover, he
has worked 70+ of these operations from spanning various counties in California, to working
several operations across the United States as well. The instructor’s primary job today is to
share best practices in running these operations by presenting this course to homicide units
and investigators across the United States.
Primary topics you will learn during this course are the history and legality of these operations,
sharpening tradecraft in the UC environment, team roles and responsibilities, strategizing the
operation, proper court testimony, tech set-up, and learning how to run all aspects of the
operation. We use real-world cases, video, audio, and photos to provide operational examples
of success.
This class is for: homicide detectives, homicide team supervisors, prosecutors, special
investigations units, and any other law enforcement professionals working homicide cases.
