About Jenn Benjamins

Jenn Benjamins is a retired Sergeant from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department with more than 22 years of law enforcement experience in patrol, investigations, criminal intelligence, vice, organized crime, and undercover operations.

Throughout her career, Jenn worked a wide range of covert assignments, including deep undercover infiltrations, and collaborated with federal partners including the ATF, DEA, and FBI. She later promoted to Sergeant, supervising specialized units and ultimately serving as Director of Peer Support, where she focused on officer wellness, resilience, and leadership development.

Today, Jenn is the founder of Covert Blue LLC, a law enforcement training company specializing in undercover operations, investigations, leadership, supervision of specialized units, and officer wellness. She is also the creator of the Women's Undercover & Investigations Training (WUIT), a national program designed to equip women in law enforcement with the skills, confidence, and support needed to succeed in investigative and undercover assignments.

A national speaker and instructor, Jenn presents at conferences across the United States and internationally on topics including undercover operations, vice investigations, leadership, officer wellness, women in law enforcement, and balancing motherhood, family, and personal growth while pursuing a demanding career. In 2026, she was nominated for Law & Crime's America's Greatest Detective, bringing national recognition to Covert Blue and her work in undercover operations, vice investigations, leadership, and law enforcement training.

Through speaking, training, mentorship, and coaching, Jenn remains committed to elevating the profession, developing future leaders, and helping law enforcement professionals thrive both on and off the job.
