Description
The Trauma-Informed Telecommunications Course equips emergency telecommunicators, call takers, 9-1-1 specialists, and supervisors with the skills to engage the public with empathy and professionalism. The course integrates trauma-informed practices into first-responder interactions while addressing the effects of vicarious and cumulative trauma on personnel to promote resilience, wellness, and effective service delivery.
