This course was eye opening to use of force encounters. It provided in depth knowledge on the factors that influence the decision making process during critical incidents. This course teaches you how to contextualize your use of force reports in a way that tells your side of the encounter. I highly recommend this course.

Valuable course with very knowledgeable instructors
The course is great for officers to understand how use of force situations are analyzed. Most officers don’t understand the case law that gives us rules and guidance on use of force. The human performance factors are a great addition to the course. The course could be three days to expand on the human performance factors and articulation.
Collin was an incredible instructor and very knowledgeable. The course was thourough and helped clarify the Use of Force Policy. Would absolutely attend another J.Harris course.
